Automotive challenges: Ghiringhelli's integrated solution increases production by 25%

In the issue of June 2025 of the Grinding & Surface Finishing magazine, an in-depth article by Claudio Tacchella was published concerning a recent application developed by Rettificatrici Ghiringhelli for a leading German automotive supplier (OEM).

The customer's request was clear: to grind components of different dimensions in a flexible, automated and highly productive way. Ghiringhelli's response was a customized solution integrating a 6-axis CNC APG-M centerless grinding machine with an automatic loading/unloading system and a pre-existing robotized cell.

The result? A real output of 600 pieces/hour, well beyond the original target, thanks to a highly flexible, digital and performing system which is able to optimize the whole grinding cycle.

A dinner focusing on work, people and future

We chose to end the year with a special company dinner, hosted by the apprenticeship Restaurant of the professional school headquartered in Luino. It was an experience that combined conviviality and training, and that allowed us to closely get to know a highly valuable educational environment.
